On 4th September takes place the Venice Historical Regatta 2022, a prestigious event that combines historical tradition and sporting competition, involving every year the entire city and its citizens. The event includes the famous historical parade on the Grand Canal, followed by the competitive rowing regattas of Venetian rowing, which include all age groups and numerous types of boats typical of Venetian seafaring tradition.
We are proud to have contributed to the event through the construction of the arrival point of the Historical Regatta, the imposing floating platform Nova Machina: a Tribune of honor, moored in front of Ca’ Foscari, that will host the authorities and the award cermony of the sporting challenges.
A highly prestigious project, which required an intervention capable of integrating a peculiar design with a careful and precious aesthetic, to create a structure of considerable size in a delicate, prestigious and extremely important environment.
