Tosetto Allestimenti was tasked with creating exhibition panels lined with jute, a cheap, rough fabric that Van Gogh used when times were hard. This material was also used in a drape-effect on the ceiling.
The company was also responsible for the many free-standing exhibition units, as well as the display cases that held an extensive selection of the artist’s letters, and the captions. In addition to the titles and technical data, these included quotations from Van Gogh himself, where he describes the work or comments on its origins.
The Milan International Tourism Exchange took place from 12 to 14 February 2023: a highly successful edition, with over 1,000 exhibitors from 45 countries, 500 buyers and a very high turnout, confirming the centrality of the fair in the field of tourism-related events.
