The exhibition that contains some abstract paintings, photographs and bronze sculptures by German artist Günther Förg,set up by Tosetto at the Palazzo Contarini Polignac inVenice, will remain open until 23 August 2019.
The works, located in the rooms richly decorated with frescoes, mirrors and ancient tapestries of the building overlooking the Grand Canal, offer some reflections on the theme of the threshold and the window, they create a dialogue with the surrounding furnishings and generate an interesting interaction between past and modern.
The collection of the most iconic works by the German master perfectly expresses Förg’s multifaceted spirit and multidisciplinary path, characterised by a language based on abstraction and expressionist figuration.
