Tosetto fabricated the set-up of the exhibition “CANOVA, HAYEZ, CICOGNARA L’Ultima Gloria di Venezia”, designed by GrisDainese, held at Gallerie dell’Accademia Museum, Venice, from September the 29th, 2017 to April the 2nd, 2018.
The exhibition, curated by Paola Marini, Fernando Mazzocca and Roberto De Feo, will present over 100 major works to celebrate the bicentennial celebrations of the Museum’s opening. The event will also celebrate a unique moment in the artistic history of the city: the period that began in 1815 with the return from Paris of the four Horses of the Saint Mark’s Basilica, iconic symbol of the city.
Among the masterpiece, visitors will admire, for the first time in 200 years, “The Homage of the Venetian Provinces” a series of artefacts sent to the imperial court of Vienna in 1818 to mark the fourth marriage of Emperor Francis I, here reunited and returned to their native city.
The exhibition will be also an opportunity to visit the gorgeous Gallerie dell’Accademia Museum, the largest collection of Venetian art existing in the world.
