The Hotel Contract Sector: a growing business at the Salone del Mobile 2016

The 55th Salone del Mobile (12 – 17 April 2016) confirms itself as the acknowledged international benchmark event for the presentation of the main design world trends and, increasingly, for the hotel and residential contract industry.
Most of the luxury and boutique hotels in the world, in fact, have something in common: the style and professionalism of Italian Design; a factor that, in recent years, has favored the booming of the Italian contract sector. An industry acknowledged not only for the high-quality materials, innovation and great aesthetics but also as a synonymous of reliability in meeting the requests of designers and architects.
This year Salone del Mobile focused on the modern-classic decor style that is very much in demand in the US, the East and the Far East contract markets, presented within the new pavilion “xLux” dedicated to luxury furniture. Among the trendiest styles, we found the Deco and Scandinavian themes reinterpreted by leading international designers for their collections. Moreover, the customization trend was taken to the extreme, exemplified by the presentation of products specifically developed for kids, luxury yacht or outdoor spaces.
A push towards the “custom-made” that Tosetto is able to interpret for its customers by offering the best of the Made in Italy with the greatest attention to details.
The design of an exhibition stand today can use digital technologies and multimedia contents to actively involve the visitor in the narration of a brand, its products or services.
