Consisting of over one hundred works, many of which were on loan from some of the world’s leading museums and galleries, this exhibition on Henri Rousseau (Laval, 1844 – Paris, 1910), who is famed for his dream-like moods, and his magical forests and landscapes, was held in the Doge’s Apartments in Palazzo Ducale in Venice. The exhibition’s eight sections featured forty-one canvases by Rousseau, along with sixty by some of his most illustrious contemporaries.

Tosetto oversaw the preparation and the accrochage of all the works exhibited in the 58th International Art Exhibition organized by the Venice Biennale.
