FontanaArte, 90 Years of Light and Art – Milano Design Week

From 7 to 12 June, as part of the Milan Design Week, FontanaArte celebrated the 90th anniversary since its foundation through the exhibition FontanaArte, 90 Years of Light and Art in the space of Via San Marco 26, organised in collaboration with Casa d’Aste Cambi and which included an installation created by the artistic director of the brand, architect Francesco Librizzi, with the graphic contribution of Pupilla Grafik.
To celebrate the achievement of almost a century of history in glass processing and in the creation of furnishing accessories that have become iconic in both Italian and international design, FontanaArte proposed a journey between past and present, through an exhibition that combined various prestigious projects: from the presentation of the historical archive of the brand to the series of portraits of the photographer Roselena Ramistella who interpreted the products of FontanaArte, up to the exhibition of some of the most iconic creations of the company dating back to the 30s and 50s and the presentation of four new products, to represent the continuity between the brand’s past and its opening towards the future.
Our team set up the entire exhibition, with a result capable of enhancing the history of the Milanese company through a collective portrait.
On November 27, the 59th Venice International Art Exhibition ended: it was a very successful edition – the most visited in the 127-year history of the Biennale, with 800,000 tickets sold -, capable of soliciting profound reflections.
