The 59th International Art Exhibition of Venice, directed and curated by Cecilia Alemani, closed on Sunday 27 November 2022. This edition is confirmed as the most visited in the 127-year history of the Biennale: over 800,000 tickets sold, with 22,500 admissions in the pre-opening. A record edition, with a number of visitors that in the 197 opening days saw an increase of 35% compared to 2019 and an average of 4062 visitors per day. It is also to noted the number of tickets issued for young people and students: 239,276, equal to 30% of visitors. This confirms the event’s ability to interest different age groups.
We are really proud to have been part of this unique edition, confirming our now long collaboration with the Biennale, with a work capable of enhancing the vision and profound suggestions of the different artists, through their works and the National Pavilions.
