2019 Biennale di Venezia: Tosetto for the Indian pavilion
By
Tosetto oversaw the graphics, layout and hanging of the works exhibited in the India pavilion at 58. International Art Exhibition organised by the Venice Biennale. The pavilion, entitled “Our time for a future caring“, traces the indelible memory of Mahatma Gandhi, his philosophical principles and the different facets of his personality through the works of different artists. Starting from the premise that Gandhi’s ideals are still valuable and highly topical in an increasingly violent and intolerant world, the exhibition aims to launch a new reflection on the concepts of action and freedom.
